We do not track or record information about individuals and their visits. However, we track do information about the types of technology our visitors use in order to make our site more visitor friendly. This information does not identify you personally.
If You Provide Us Information
We ask for personal information at various times to support our lead generation and nurturing activities. The information is gathered through registration forms that are required to download a demonstration of our software or access our research content, such as white papers. You have the right to decline and not enter the information.
If you do share your information, rest assured it is solely used by us to provide you with the best possible products and services that we offer. We only attempt to collect the minimum amount of information necessary to improve the relevancy of our communications with you. You have the right at any time to opt out from our communications.
NML maintains all prospect information on a secure server that uses firewalls and other security features available to it in order to safeguard it from unauthorized accesses.
Computer Information Technology Corporation Safe Harbor Policy
Introduction and Scope:
Computer Information Technology Corporation and its subsidiaries (“CITC”) is a leading provider of software development and consulting services. It also offers its marketing automation application in a Software-as-a-Service model, licensed model and marketing services. CITC enters into licensing and service Agreements which include receiving and using data from clients for marketing purposes. Under some Agreements CITC’s clients use the data that is stored on our servers as they wish. Some Agreements allow CITC to use the data for marketing campaigns on behalf of their clients. These campaigns are approved by the clients prior to being deployed. Protecting consumer privacy is important to CITC. CITC and its affiliated United States subsidiaries (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “CITC,” “we,” “us” or “our”) adhere to the Safe Harbor Agreement concerning the transfer of personal data from the European Union (“EU”) to the United States of America. Accordingly, we follow the Safe Harbor Principles published by the U.S. Department of Commerce (the “Principles”) with respect to all such data. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Principles, the Principles shall govern. This privacy policy outlines our general policy and practices for implementing the Principles, including the types of information we gather, how we use it and the notice and choice affected individuals have regarding our use of and their ability to correct that information. This privacy policy applies to all personal information received by the CITC whether in electronic, paper or verbal format.
Definitions
“Personal Information” or “Information” means information that (1) is transferred from the EU to the United States; (2) is recorded in any form; (3) is about, or pertains to a specific individual or a company; and (4) can be linked to that individual.
“Sensitive Personal Information” means personal information that reveals race, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership or that concerns an individual’s health.
Notice
CITC enters into licensing and marketing Agreements with its clients in the US and EU. All uses of the client’s data is governed, controlled and protected by this Agreement. These Agreements clearly state that the CITC clients are the data custodians for its use and are responsible for complying with the EU and Safe Harbor rules. CITC is responsible for maintaining the security of the data on its computer servers and will take all take reasonable steps to protect the Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
Onward Transfers
CITC will never disclose, sell or pass information about individuals or data belonging to its clients to any third party unless required by legal requests from appropriate court of law or similar jurisdiction and statutes.
Data Security
CITC shall take reasonable steps to protect the Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. CITC has put in place appropriate physical and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. CITC cannot guarantee the security of Information on or transmitted via the Internet.
Data Integrity
CITC shall only process Personal Information in a way that is compatible with and relevant for the purpose for which it was collected or authorized by the individual. To the extent necessary for those purposes, CITC shall take reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Information is accurate, complete, current and reliable for its intended use. CITC also ensures that all electronic communications have a clear opt-out/unsubscribe message allowing the persons to inform CITC of their desire to not receive any future communications.
Access
CITC shall provide individuals access to their Personal Information and correct, amend or delete inaccurate information, except where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the privacy of the individual in the case in question or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated.
Enforcement
CITC uses a self-assessment approach to assure compliance with this privacy policy and periodically verifies that the policy is accurate, comprehensive for the information intended to be covered, prominently displayed, completely implemented and accessible and in conformity with the Principles. Any CITC employee that is found to be in violation of this security policy will be disciplined and maybe subject to termination. We encourage interested persons to raise any concerns using the contact information provided and we will investigate and attempt to resolve any complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of Personal Information in accordance with the Principles.
If a complaint or dispute cannot be resolved through our internal process, we agree to dispute resolution using (an independent resource mechanism) as a third party resolution provider.
Amendments
This privacy policy may be amended from time to time consistent with the requirements of the Safe Harbor. We will post any revised policy on this website.
Information Subject to Other Policies
The CITC is committed to following the Principles for all Personal Information within the scope of the Safe Harbor Agreement. However, certain information is subject to policies of CITC that may differ in some respects from the general policies set forth in this privacy policy.
